Walking Tour of Sorrento

It will be my pleasure to walk you around my  lovely hometown, birthplace of the poet Torquato Tasso  and  beloved by some  great names such as the famous tenor Enrico Caruso and the beautiful Neapolitan actress Sofia Loren (many of her films  were actually set in Sorrento!).

Known as “the land of the sirens” Sorrento is a popular holiday destination and in the 17 and 1800’s it was a must stop for the travellers of the “Grand Tour”. Be charmed by Sorrento the same way they were, and enjoy with me a nice walk along the little lanes of the old town full of tiny shops and cafes and breathe in its lively and friendly atmosphere!

We absolutely cannot miss a taste of limoncello from the lemons growing in one of the many gardens of this land

SPECIAL TIPS: SOME ADVICE

- Comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen (highly recommended in summer) and a bottle of water

- If time is short or you want to make the most of your time here, combined tours are also available. So have a look below and enjoy more than one place on the same day. These are some possible combinations:

• Pompei, Sorrento and Positano from Naples (train station or port) This tour is perfect if you have limited time but you want to see some of the major highlights in the area. First stop will be Pompei, for a two hour tour, then you’ll be taken to Sorrento where you’ll have one hour’s free time, then on to Positano where you’ll have another hour and finally departure to Naples port or train station
• Pompei and Amalfi

We can also do different tour combinations if you wish. Any cultural tour can be combined with an incredible wine and food experience in a great local winery or restaurant.
